Exchange alumni from 18 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, representing 12 exchange programs gathered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to share best practices and challenges related to building diverse and resilient communities. Participants discussed barriers to interfaith and interethnic dialogue and strategies for how to promote tolerance and acceptance towards people of different backgrounds, as well as ways in which inclusive practices can intersect with local and global development.
