Municipal Environmental Resilience and Inclusiveness

A group of 39 ExchangeAlumni, consisting of academics, nonprofit leaders, government officials, and activists convened in Santiago, Chile and discussed various facets of climate change and how to build resiliency in response to an ever-changing climate. Participants shared data, research projects, and traditional knowledge through panels and small group discussions to return home and help improve climate resiliency in their communities. Eight small grant projects were funded which all centered on municipal climate issues.
