The New Frontiers of Global Health

Exchange alumni from 17 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, representing 10 exchange programs gathered at Emory University to discuss innovative and creative approaches to public health issues affecting communities around the globe. Participants shared their observations of nutritional issues within Native American communities, their perspectives on sexual health education for young Muslim Americans, and their approach to public health awareness through virtual game design. Participants engaged with experts from the Carter Center and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to learn about their innovative approaches in tackling public health challenges around the world.
