Intersections: Climate Change, Global Affairs, and the Digital Age

Exchange alumni from 21 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, representing 14 exchange programs met to discuss the broad range of technological advances and innovations in today’s increasingly globalized and interconnected world and how they may be applied to mitigate global climate change and its effects on communities around the world. Sessions and activities focused on how climate change is affecting global communities, including its impacts on other key issues such as human rights, entrepreneurship, and the rights of women and girls.
