Strengthening the Business Climate for Women Entrepreneurs

Exchange alumni from 11 countries in South and Central Asia, representing academia and business gathered in Kathmandu to discuss policies and best practices in entrepreneurship, cross-regional partnerships, strategies to dismantle barriers to female entrepreneurs, and how to mobilize small business enterprises in their home communities. Participants also explored how to apply social innovation to small business plans and examined national and regional policies that promote women’s entrepreneurship.
