Women in Media: Creating Networks for Social Change

Exchange alumni from 11 countries in South and Central Asia gathered in Almaty, Kazakhstan to develop strategies for how to empower women in the media industry and counter disinformation. Alumni participants representing the fields of journalism, film, television, academia, and music shared their professional expertise, perspectives, and personal experiences to shine a light on how to effectively promote women’s equality within the media industry and how to promote media and information literacy in their communities.
